The Final Countdown

We started the day out with another great continental breakfast at the hotel.  When we got to the Mississippi Center for Justice, the HIV and ACA groups buckled down to complete their projects.  For lunch, we went to a really interesting restaurant called Bruno’s Adobo, where we had a variety of Latin American and Asian dishes with many yummy spices.  During the afternoon, each group finished up their assignments and provided their final products to MCJ.  MCJ also treated us to some delicious Mississippi cookies (sugar cookies covered in icing).

For dinner, we excitedly went out to Julep.  It was one of our best meals of the trip, with some of the star dishes including Julep’s “Tuna Tower,” strawberry pecan salad, award winning fried chicken and delicious strawberry cake.

We then made our way to Apothecary to wrap up the night.  We enjoyed the music and ambiance, then returned to the hotel to get some rest to present our projects on Friday!
